Stella Maris is a title given to the Virgin Mary. The meaning is Latin for Star of the Sea. Spa Stella Maris was created by Pamela “Ela” French Fulghum Williams. Ela’s passion for the sea, in particular as a divemaster and lover of the ocean, combined with her love of nature — was the virtuoso behind Stella Maris.
Ela wanted to create a holistic spa where guests would not have to worry about what chemicals were being invoked while they relax and refresh from their daily toils. Spa Stella Maris is a retreat to detox your mind and body and rejuvenate your spirit.
Ela believes that God has given us the tools to repair our bodies from within; we must only engage them.
